Certification in wood construction

Whether joinery, roofing or carpentry, no matter which woodcraft you represent: An FSC and/or PEFC certification within the supply chain (COC) could be of interest to you. Certification offers you new market opportunities, not least through the requirements of the many procurement directives. The materials used in wood construction are already among the most sustainable. You can further emphasise this by using certified wood materials. Certification allows you to identify certified products in your sales and delivery documents and to use the FSC or PEFC logos on your products and for promotional purpose.

The following reasons speaking for certification are often given by wood construction companies:

  • public tenders require proof of certified materials
  • being certified sets you apart from your competitors
  • the use of the logos improves the corporate image
  • the use of responsibly manufactured wood materials is communicated externally

If you find yourself agreeing to one or more of the above reasons or even have other reasons, then it must certainly be of interest for you to get more background information about certification. More than 1,500 issued certificates makes us a competent partner for you. Receive a free and non-binding offer in our Request Proposal section. By the way: Many companies opt for a combined FSC and PEFC certification in order to respond flexibly to their customer requirements. We also offer this form of certification.

To meet the requirements for public sector tenders, a verification according to the “Berlin Model” could be of interest to you if you only occasionally participate in such invitations to tender.
